Printable Format76-12b09. Civil rights of persons admitted to an institution. Except as limited by this act, a person shall not lose rights as a citizen, property rights or legal capacity by reason of being admitted to an institution, except that the superintendent of an institution may adopt reasonable policies concerning the exercise of such rights by persons admitted to the institution.
