CASE ANNOTATIONS

1. Township trustee can bind county for medical services, etc. Comm'rs of Clay Co. v. Renner, 27 Kan. 225, 228.

2. Township trustee's authority coextensive with township regardless of third-class city limits. Leinbach v. Pottawatomie County, 116 Kan. 347, 226 P. 993.

3. Funds for poor may be raised by taxation. Atchison, T.&S.F. Rly. Co. v. Leavenworth County Comm'rs, 127 Kan. 635, 638, 274 P. 266.
