CASE ANNOTATIONS
1. Where parental rights have been terminated, child is no longer dependent and is not entitled to workman's compensation benefits upon death of parent. Roelfs v. Wallingford, Inc., 207 Kan. 804, 809, 810, 486 P.2d 1371.
2. Emancipation of minor and commitment as a ward of state are not sufficient to justify automatic termination of obligation of support by parents. Patrzykont v. Patrzykont, 7 Kan. App. 2d 533, 536, 644 P.2d 1009 (1982).
