CASE ANNOTATIONS

1. Held error to disbar attorney without opportunity for hearing. Peyton's Appeal, 12 Kan. 398.

2. Defendant entitled to change of venue on showing of prejudice. Peyton's Appeal, 12 Kan. 398.

3. Section cited in considering whether county attorney must be admitted. The State v. Swan, 60 Kan. 461, 464, 56 P. 750.

4. Disbarment for unauthorized law suits, forgery in obtaining loans, fraud in handling of estate property, violation of ex parte order. In re Thompson, 239 Kan. 144, 147, 716 P.2d 194 (1986).

5. Statute contemplates bringing separate lawsuit for damages; not to be used as method of defeating attorney's lien. Mohr v. State Bank of Stanley, 244 Kan. 555, 567, 770 P.2d 466 (1989).
