73-1225. Staff position established, appointment, duties. There is hereby established with the Kansas office of veterans services a full-time position dedicated to seeking and applying for grants and other moneys to fund activities under this act, to assist in the preparation and administration of surveys under this act, to promote programs and activities designed to assist persons affected by Gulf War syndrome to receive the help they need and to perform such other duties as the director may prescribe. The director shall appoint a qualified individual to this position.
